Bawku Naba Endorsed Nana Addo

Naba Asigiri Azoka Abugrago II,the paramount chief of Bawku, has described as false reports indicating that he had endorsed the candidature of President John Mahama as Ghanaians gear up for this year’s elections.

According to him, reports which emanated in the aftermath of the visit of President Mahama to his palace earlier this month that he had declared his support for the president are not true.

The Bawku Naba explained that when President Mahama visited him, “I was in possession of a white handkerchief. The journalists present suggested that that was an endorsement of President Mahama. It is not true.”

Naba Asigiri Azoka Abugrago II, without hesitation, indicated, “This is the proper endorsement I want to make. God willing this year, you will get what you want and become the President of Ghana,” (referring to the New Patriotic Party standard bearer, Nana Akufo-Addo).

Finally Darry Howard is Innocent After 21Years in Prison

A man had spent 21 years in prison has been freed after a judge threw out his double-murder conviction.
Darryl Howard, who had always maintained his innocence, told cheering supporters and news crews he was "going home" following an emotional reunion with his wife Nannie.
The 54-year-old was convicted of strangling and sexual assaulting Doris Washington, 29, and her 13-year-old daughter Nishonda in 1991.
He has been exonerated by DNA evidence which has since come to light, pr
oving he did not rape the women.
Mr Howard told regional newspaper The News & Observer he was excited about seeing his grandchildren and "getting on with his life".
He also said he was not angry.

Prime Minister visits war-torn Sirte:Libya

Libya’s Prime Minister Fayez al-Sarraj visited on Wednesday the country’s war-torn city of Sirte.
This was his first visit since forces of the Tripoli-based government launched an offensive on the city more than three months ago, to oust militants of the Islamic state.

Security Men Storm The Gabon's Main Opposition Headquarters

Gabon’s main opposition candaidate in the August 27 polls, Jean Ping, has confirmed that his campaign headquarters in the capital, Libreville, was attacked by security forces leading to the death of two people.A government spokesman said the operation in the capital, Libreville, was aimed at rooting out "criminals".
Mr Ping said two people had been killed in the assault on his headquarters.
His supporters have staged protests after official results gave President Ali Bongo a narrow victory.
They have accused the government of stealing the election.
The government has said security operations have been targeting "armed criminals" who had earlier set the parliament on fire.

Mexico Will Pay For Wall:Donald Trump

US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has insisted Mexico will pay for a border wall "100%", in a major immigration speech.
The Republican nominee said: "They don't know it yet, but they're going to pay for it."
Hours after he made a surprise visit to Mexico, and appeared uncharacteristically toned down as he shared a stage with President Enrique Pena Nieto, Mr Trump unveiled a hard-hitting plan to curb illegal immigration from its southern neighbour.
Back on home soil in Arizona, he told cheering crowds of his plan to fit the wall along the US' Mexican border with sensors to detect tunnels used for trafficking people and drugs - vowing to significantly increase patrol staff along the border.
His 10-point plan includes an end to "catch and release" - the practice of letting illegal immigrants go immediately after they are detained.

Liwin Endorsed Agya Koo As King of Movie

Follwing the endorsement by Kwadwo Nkansah Liwin that Agya Koo is the king of movies in Ghana,Agya Koo,has similarly commended him for such endorsement.

Speaking on Adom Entertainment Hall last Saturday, Agya Koo said it was just good for Lilwin to give the necessary respect to him who is a senior colleague in the industry.

“I know am very good in acting and I can say that I am the king when it comes to acting because I was born with it, so what Lilwin said is the truth,” Agya disclosed.

According to him, his younger brother in the industry only confessed the truth since he (Agya Koo) has already attained higher feat in the industry by contributing significantly to the revival of the Ghanaian movie.
