The Ghana Armed forces is on a manhunt for one of their officers who is suspected to have links with terrorist group ISIS.

203639 is of the 64 Infantry Regiment.
According to reports within the Military, Private Abdul Rahman jumped out of the vehicle which was sending him to his bosses for military inquisition.
The military authorities are currently on the heels of the 26 -year old before he attempts to leave the country.

It is not immediately clear the duration he has been in contact with ISIS.
When Pulse News contacted the Ghana Armed Forces for comments, the Public Affairs Directorate said it was an internal matter and would not make any further comments.
He was however quick to add that they have begun investigations into the matter.
“We have also heard the report too and so we are conducting our investigations with the appropriate security agencies to see the truth or otherwise of the matter.

Our intelligence are looking into the matter.… Once we come up with anything, then we will talk about it,” he said. A student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Mohammed Nasir Alema was reported to have joined ISIS in 2015.
The National Security also presented a report to the Education Ministry, warning it about activities of ISIS on the campus of tertiary institutions.
This comes at a time Ghana is on high security alert after a credible threat of terror attack.
