Ever since we discovered the refrigerator, it has become a safe haven for our food items.
We keep everything in it so it’s safe for
consumption after a period of time. But not every food item should be refrigerated.
Here are some food items you shouldn’t keep in a fridge.
1. Hot Sauce
Whether
it’s pepper sauce or any sauce that is hot and spicy shouldn’t be kept
in the fridge. The reasons is that, hot sauce stays fresh for
years years without refrigerating it, putting it in the fridge decreases
it’s life span.

4. Onions
Onions
should be kept in a dry and ventilated area. Keeping in the fridge

5. Avocado
Avocado, just like the tomato, won’t ripen faster if you put it in the fridge.
6. Honey
Honey never spoils and shouldn’t be refrigerated, since the only point of refrigeration is to keep food items from spoiling.

The only time watermelon should be kept in the fridge is when it’s cut, uncut watermelon shouldn’t be kept in the fridge.

Just
like many of the aforementioned, when banana is kept in the fridge, it

Bonus: Batteries
Yea,
this is not really food but, it is believed that storing batteries in
the fridge makes them stronger, this is false as extreme cold decreases
the power of batteries.
