These are things all Ghanaiana miss when they're living in oversea

Because no matter how bad we complain about life in Ogyakrom, “home is still where the heart is!”.

1. Year round weather that allows you to wear your chale like a boss.

2. And wearing loose clothing without layers year round.

3. Living amongst the nicest people on the planet.

4. And the kids going out and kicking it with the squad like:

5. Freedom of wearing ntoma without being looked at funny.

6. Funnily enough, we miss this kind of food when we’re living overseas.

7. And the fact that you can’t wake up in the morning to get this.

8. Or this.

9. Yeah, they have it there too but it just doesn’t taste the same.

10. And having this for lunch from Daavi.

11. So all visiting family and friends from Ghana should remember to pack a couple of these.

12. The alcohol, for some reason, takes better in Ogyakrom. Not sure why.

13. The sound of heavy rain pelting rooftops.

14. The annoying car horns from taxi drivers.

15. And a trotro you can simply board anytime, anywhere without waiting on a “schedule”.

16. Going 120km/hr on those long roads to our villages for the holidays.

17. So the least chance we get, we make sure everyone around know that we are indeed the BLACKSTAR!
